Ella Tili provided constant entertainment for fellow travellers. Here she is showing the gentleman how to use his Blackberry.
After arriving the previous evening at 2130 in Northallerton, and walking off the train to meet Grandma, Ella Tili was up bright and early, shod in her pink wellingtons, to make the walk up the village to Grandma and Grandpa's house. It was over a year since they last met, so Grandpa was very excited to see her.

Before we headed to the auction mart and market we walked across the moor.

Life with Ella Tili can be pretty exhausting!
Revived from a power nap, it is time to assist Mama with her studies. Highlighting text is great!
On a bitterly cold morning three generations waited to board the train to Settle.

Geocaching with Grandma; Mama and Grandpa (in bottom gear) climb up the lane.

Sheep. Papa looks forward to explaining the significance of the colours to Ella Tili in years to come!

Auntie D and cousin N looking through one of my books with me.

Walking alongside the River Ure. Mama and Papa went alone while I rode in the car with Grandma and Grandpa.

Stepping stones on the River Ure.

All wrapped up against the cold wind.

Views of Coverdale.

Mmm...unwelcome interruption by Papa?
Ah no...its OK!
The ever-present dry stone walls around Malham. Mama pointed out the absence of barns.

A most welcome cup of tea!

Warm by the fire in the Foresters.
A tasty low calorie starter.
Uncle J and cousin N keeping me entertained.
From Yorkshire we headed north to Scotland. After some time in Edinburgh we traveled further north. Here we stand on Ben Arn after a most enjoyable climb up through woodland and heather.
BIG (that is BIG) breakfast after a fine run in freezing fog.
Special frost build up in perfectly still air.
Ready for anything.
Heading for the sun.
Mama with the sun in her hand.
The reward for climbing through the fog!
The intrepid walkers.
From Scotland we headed south again to Northumberland and a trip down memory lane for Mama.
Grandpa reading from one of my books.
Heading home after a fantastic trip. Eventually Ella Tili was exhausted enough to sleep it what can only be described as not the most comforable position.
Upon arrival in Paris it was straight into Terminus du Nord again. This time it was Steak tartare et Moules washed down with crisp cold 1664.
