On the Road!

Tanzanian roads are long, pumpy and hot...

... so sometimes I had to lean out of the window to get some cooling air!

And sometimes I insisted that we needed a break.

Sometimes it was very boring in the car - so I had leg exercises to do.

When Papa wanted to change my nappy on the car where everybody could see it I really could not agree on that!
Sometimes I was not tall enough to watch out of the window, and see down on the world heritage site of Ngorongoro Crater, and I had to climb on the hat box (this I did myself!) ...

... or on the Muesli pack (for this Mama helped a little bit!)

...or the nappies!

Sometimes I was quite happy. But overall after about 1500km on pumpy Tanzanian roads I was very happy when Mama and Papa promised that the next journey we would do by train with the Chinese built TAZARA line, and even better, together with uncle Adi and aunt Sylvia, so all the time somebody will play with me!

But my very best car is of course this one, you see me strapped in like in a Formula one racing car, Castor is my co-pilot and Papa pushing - or here rather holiding back! This part was really steep, and as so many times during this journey, Papa told me, that "life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all", just as Godfather Phil has written to me!
